Located on one of the oldest organic farms in California, The
Center for Urban Agriculture at Fairview Gardens, is an
internationally respected model for urban food production,
agricultural preservation, and community supported agriculture.
Education Director, Tiffany Cooper Carpenter, speaks with Jill
Cloutier about the importance of urban agriculture, the programs at
Fairview, and how a 12 and a half acre farm survives and thrives in
the middle of an urban landscape.
What a lovely interview!
Inspiring and approaches so many aspects of a City Farm, Urban Agriculture, people who works with community organizations...I felt as we were in a circle just sharing ways of doing and the solutions.
Love, Abundance and lots of green hugs!
